How to...
DRY & IRON CLOTHES
Drying
Outdoor drying gives clothes a fresh feeling. Remember to always turn clothes inside out to minimise fading. If line drying isn’t possible, use a dryer. The dryer should be on cool or warm unless drying heavy items like towels, as the hot cycle can crease and shrink some clothes. Tumble drying on cool or warm can make ironing easier. Some items, such as woollens lose their shape if hung on the line and will shrink if put in the dryer. It is best to dry these items flat on a towel out of direct sunlight.
Ironing
Before ironing it is important to check the care instructions on the garment to avoid damaging the fabric. Using a fabric conditioner such as Cuddly in your wash reduces the wrinkles on your clothes, making them easier to iron.
